I’m JJ who’s on your Korean study journey together!

I’m a certified native Korean teacher with lots of teaching experience, and I am helping people who are passionate about learning the Korean language and the culture worldwide.
My greatest happiness and luck is to help others and make them happy with my knowledge and ability. It’s amazing that with my little help, a person’s development and his/her future can change. And if this contributes to creating a better society, it couldn’t be better.

I was born and raised in Korea and have been interested in learning foreign languages since I was young. So I entered a foreign language high school where only the top students could enter in Korea. From there, I learned English, German, and Japanese. After that, I met friends from various countries while studying a bachelor’s degree in the United States.

When I first entered university, not many people know about Korea. However, gradually, many people came to me and asked me that I am Korean. And they wondered about Korean culture and the Korean language.

It was an opportunity to take pride as a Korean. Since then, I have been asked more and more questions due to the craze of K-pop and Korean dramas. And from then on, I’ve started to teach many foreign friends about Korea. Was it since then? As a Korean, I wanted to make the whole world know about Korea and to help foreign friends understand Korea better. Therefore, I studied to become a Korean teacher when I came back to Korea.

After obtaining a Korean teacher license, I flew to Singapore, Australia, and Dubai for my Global MBA degree. From there, I met many friends who are interested in Korea, and I helped them know about the Korean language and the culture. Now, currently, I am living in Europe and teaching the Korean language and Korean culture to many friends all around the world.

I also know too well that learning a new language and culture is not as easy as it sounds because I also have learned new languages and have studied and lived in various countries. It means I felt the same way about your difficulties 😀
